Good morning guys! Isn't the weather fantastic?! - not, the sun left on Monday. :( makes a difference from having torrential downpour every bank holiday!
But I'm really happy that the sun stayed out for the christening I went to on Sunday, especially in a county such as Wiltshire. The downside is the drive down there. Took four hours, normally I stop for half hour, but as I was running late, and joining traffic queues didn't help. I just pegged it down there. Glad I didn't stop as I arrived at the church with five minutes to spare!
The rest of the day was spent catching up with friends who I hadn't seen for 6months, and enjoying a drink, it was nice to relax! :)
I wore the dress that I brought last week, I'm getting use to wearing dresses now, instead of trousers. Normally I wear black tights with dresses, this time I went for nude :P aha!
Off to work I go, I'm tempted to start a new blog about all the work we do when it comes to setting up weddings, especially as I now do one day a week in the events office and I'm studying it next year. Thoughts? Or should I just concentrate on this one bloggers? See ya :) x
So much for me saving for a house eh?! The orginal reason of visiting was to go into Apple to get my phone fixed. My lock on my iPhone 4 has sunk. My network provider where going to charge me £170 for it to be sent off and repaired. Apple where going to charge me £119 for a replacement phone. However, the replacement phone was a recycled one. In the end I decided to keep my phone and wait out the remainder 9months off my contract for an upgrade.
The guys in Apple are so rude and condescending. They really are! I would not recommend anyone going to the Cambridge store!!
Anyway, my purchases! So to think over my options with my phone, mum and I walked around. Rude not to right?! My first purchase were a pair of Tom wedge s. I absolutely love Toms. The style, the comfort, the price - not so much, but the concept is so good! You buy a pair and a child in Africa gets a pair of shoes for free! Their a beautiful ash colour, bit tight but they will stretch, just like my other two pairs.
I then brought a Crew Navy Blue Cable Knit jumper. I already have one from Jack Wills, but that is more for winter as its wool. This is lovely material and thick enough to wear over a vest.
My final buy was a dress from the Cambridge Market. I'm unsure about this one, so would love your opinions. The dress I liked was not available in my size :( so mum picked up this one. It's to big around the neck line.. Just not sure.
However I need a dress for the christening this weekend!

On the 18th May I travelled down to Wembley to see one of my favourite bands, McFly!
While enjoying the show immensely and having a good sing along. They also announced a special concert that they will be holding at The Royal Albert Hall to celebrate 10years!
10 years can you believe that! It then got me thinking what I was doing 10years ago..
So I would of been 12 (that's an easy one ;) ) I think I was in year 8 at school. Not much was really going on. I was going through my emo phase.. dear lord. This was to carry on until I was 18, when (yes you guessed it) I had a reality check.
Despite this slight phase, I have loved and followed McFly since their first number one, 5 Colours in Her Hair.
I have seen them three times now, 2008, 2012 and 2013, and I am hoping I'll be able to get tickets to see them in September.
Some people mock me for liking them.. two words.

So as promised I have posted "11 Random Things" about me, so here goes! :) 1. I own a lovely car called Millie and she has eyelashes - yes you heard correctly! 2.I can wiggle my ears without moving the rest of my face - Weird! 3. Despite being the age that I am, I LOVE The Sims! I have the collection, from the original to hopefully the fourth that their releasing in 2014! 4. I'm fed up with the way I look and want to change. This is my journey :) 4. Favourite book? I heart New York (& other series) by Lindsey Kelk. I got the book as a freebie in a magazine and was glad i found the others on Kindle. Its about a girl who sets up a blog when she decides to move to New York after catching her cheating boyfriend. The book follows her steps and is hilarious The added bonus is that Kelk has but in the back recommendations of hotels, restaurants and things to do in New York! 5. Favourite food? If you saw the size of me you wouldn't believe that I love food, but I do! Chicken Sweet and Sour and rice, Lasagne, Tirimisu.. you name it I'll eat it! Except fish.. bleurgh! 6. What do you want to do in the future? I have worked in the hospitality industry since I was 16, from restaurants, cafes, hotels and pubs. Originally I wanted to be a hotel owner but since, and only recently, I have decided to go down the path of events, especially weddings, big parties and festivals :) I start my top up degree in September in Events, can not wait! Well I'm back, finally! I've handed in my final paper which I finished at 2am this morning! I am shattered to say the least! 1.What is your absolute favourite beauty product? I said in a previous post about the Benefits "They're Real" Mascara and I will always love that little powerful wand! Makes my lashes look long!
2.If you were stranded on an island, what 3 things would you want with you? Teapigs teabags, ...*Gosh this really has got me thinking*... my Kindle and bottles of sparkling water.
3. Who's your favourite actor/actress? It will always be Anne Hathaway - Especially in Devil Wears Prada and Kirsten Bell - Classic comedy genius!
4. iPhone or Android? I have an iPhone, ironically it decided today that the home button would stop working :(

Well relaxing went down the drain last night, though I don't recall doing assignment work in front of the telly watching The Apprentice relaxing, do you? Presentation went well thank you for asking! :) We passed! I would of thought so seeing as it was 41 slides long! Never again! However last night I started my 4000 word assignment:
"What impact does social media and websites
have on potential customers on hotels?"
At first this seemed like a really interesting title, I love the hospitality industry as well as social media sites and marketing. I keep offering my services to set up an Instagram account for the hotel especially for the events we hold but they wont see what a great idea it is. I do post them on my own account though :)
Alas, my motivation has run out and the topic is becoming quite boring, but as the deadline is next Friday I have no choice but to carry on! Talking about how Facebook and other websites like Tripadvisor have an impact on customers choices when chosing a hotel is getting a bit pretentious!
So my blogging will take a back seat until then, but I will keep checking in.

Right, while my creative juices are overflowing - great timing as I need to get this 4000 word report done, I have opted for a simple template. You never know I might keep it. I thought I would do that otherwise you have a zoomed picture of my name in your screen! One thing I couldn't quite understand is the sizing of the Blog Header, so any help would be greatly appreciated :)
In other news, I have my presentation tomorrow, boo hiss! I brought new products, one is to try, Yay!

Well I hope you all enjoyed the weather! :) I managed to catch the sun whilst sat in the garden, thankfully not invaded by animals :)
I decided this afternoon that I needed to clear up my room, looked a bit dirty..
Anyway, upon looking in my drawer I came across loads of product samples.
Couple of months ago I subscribed to GlossyBox. You paid £12 (or near enough) once a month for a box in return which had five products in. These products were based on your "Beauty Profile", however some of them I received were for anti-ageing, I know I'm old but I'm not THAT old!
I've decided I'll take some time in the evenings to review these as well as anything else that I buy or find lurking in my room.
Now I'm not a huge make-up fan, and you really would not believe this if you saw my bag.. Ok, I may of exaggerated a bit, but it tends to stay in the bag rather than out being used!
So in my rummaging I came across not one, but three mascaras.
This is one product that I can not live without!
So the three that I have are:
Rimmel London "Scandaleyes- Show off"
Maybelline "Volum' Express Lift Up"
and finally Benefits "They're Real"
After trying all three, and I'm not surprised, Benefits is my favourite. However at the hefty price of £19.50 I'm considering to use it for special occasions, don't get much of those..
I did get this one on offer, it came with a free travel size mascara which my mum has.
Now when I have time I'll show you the effects of the mascara, it really does "extend and volumise" and no i don't wear those stupid fake eyelashes, mine are 100% real. :)
I'll also show you what make up I use everyday, I might even chuck some of it out..!

I hope everyone is enjoying the sun and your are wearing sun tan lotion! ;) Bit hypocritical as i am currently sat in the garden, in the sun doing assignment work (there always has to be a downer on such a glorious day!) wearing no sun lotion!
This is also where i start to complain about how i wish i had a white laptop, my black one is heating up and its so hot! Quite surprised that it is still going.. might of jinxed it now, you watch!
Anyway, hopefully I'll get a bit of a tan.. i hope. However i have not taken full advantage in getting my shorts on.. pasty legs here i come!
Maybe i should invest in some tanning lotion instead of those Raybans I've been eyeing up!?
Just come back from our neighbours garden, they brought a miniature Schnauzer puppy yesterday called Jack. It is so small! That was my break for today while doing work.. however i', typing this up and that's technically a break..Eurgh!

So firstly the basics, I'm a 22 year old, still living with the parents, not the usual "Uni Student." When I say not the usual, I mean that I got as far as packing the car ready to leave for Leeds Met.. and then panicked.
Next thing and two years later, I'm just finishing my Foundation Degree in Hospitality Business Management and work full time in a hotel in the local town. Graduating in September and then starting my third year in Events.
My name? Becky. I went through the usual phase when I was younger when I changed the spelling more or less the same time as Atomic Kitten changed their band members.
This blog is for me to express my views and thoughts on every day life as well as typing up the occasional reviews on products.

Well hello there and May the 4th be with you! (My geek side showing there!)
This week has been a bit of a hectic week, while I've been focusing on my assignments, Tigi our ginger cat got hit by a car! :(
After seeing two vets (our local one and one in Northampton) and being away from home for 3days, she is now home and unfortunately has to be kept in a cage for 8 weeks!
She has shattered her hip joint and leg and the poor thing has a pin on her.
There was the option of amputating but Dad didn't want it.
But I am happy to say she is well!
Bramble has settled in well, she managed to eat a whole fruit stick in a night.. there meant to be a treat and eaten slowly but she hasn't understood that concept yet!
Hoping my Blogging well and truly kicks off in the Summer when I have no assignments to worry about.
